Our Swiss Healthcare Properties Investment Group, established in August 2015, invests in inpatient and outpatient clinics, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other health and wellness services in regions with favourable demographic trends or strong market demand. Our goal is to achieve long-term capital appreciation by buying and building properties with long-term leases and by taking direct stakes.
The Investment Group aims to surpass CHF 500 million in invested assets and targets a dividend yield of at least 4%. Dividends are distributed but can be reinvested free of charge.
Only Swiss occupational pension funds can invest in this Group, which offers stable, attractive returns and diversification within the real-estate asset class.
The first transaction was concluded 1st September 2015 with the purchase of the building of CIC Riviera clinic in Montreux-Clarens. Since then the following properties were acquired or integrated: the Weyergut Bethanien retirement and care home in Bern, 2 medical centers with residential apartments in Geneva (GE) and Freiburg (FR), Seeklinik Brunnen in Ingenbohl-Brunnen (SZ), the OASSIS medical & care cluster at Crissier (VD), a construction project for a retirement and care home in Boudry (NE), the Rennbahnklinik in Muttenz (BL), a workshop for disabled in La Chaux-De-Fonds (NE), 1/14 of building land plot in Lausanne / Crisser (VD). The assets under management amount to 280 m CHF as end of December 2019.
