The completion of a senior residence, offering a wide range of services, marks the conclusion of the first part of the plot acquired in 2017 with a new construction project by Patrimonium Investment Foundation (Swiss Healthcare Properties Investment Group) for developing a healthcare property in the new Oassis district in Crissier. Situated within a vibrant district, the retirement home is able to offer its residents a socially integrated living.
Encompassing 100 sheltered accommodation apartments, the senior residence comprises 95 2.5-room (58 m2 of living space) and five 3.5-room apartments (80 m2 of living space).
The project was realised with an investment volume of over CHF 50 million with Losinger-Marazzi AG as the general contractor. Patrimonium Asset Management AG has been developing the property since 2012 for a third party, from whom the Swiss Healthcare Properties Investment Group acquired the land with the new construction project in 2017.
Nestled in the vibrant Oassis district with 610 rental apartments, 56 owner-occupied apartments and 5,500 m2 of commercial space, including a wide range of shopping facilities for daily needs, local gastronomy options with different restaurants as well as good accessibility with public transport, the home is able to provide its residents a socially integrated living.
The senior residence offers a broad spectrum of services and care, including:
All apartments meet the relevant standards for senior living. They feature their own eat-in kitchen with height-adjustable hob and oven as well as a barrier-free bathroom. All apartments have either a loggia or a balcony.
The senior residence is operated according to a traditional model. The company Alterimmo AG is responsible for management. The non-profit association Althys is entrusted with resident care.
The first residents moved into the apartments at the end of November. Capacity utilisation at the start of March 2021 currently stands at 75%.
In the property held by the Swiss Healthcare Properties Investment Group, the second part of the project will be concluded in spring 2021 with the opening of a healthcare centre of regional importance.
