Work has officially begun on the extension of the Bussigny gymnasium, which will include 25 new classrooms, a triple indoor sports hall and two outdoor courts. Preliminary archaeological excavations have been completed, uncovering a Bronze Age burial mound – a remarkable discovery that has enriched our knowledge of the local heritage.
The initial stages of the project have been successfully completed: the earthworks are finished, the drilling for the foundation piles is complete, as is the installation of the 18 geothermal probes designed to ensure optimal energy performance.
Final acceptance of the work is scheduled for the end of April 2027, with a view to classifying the new spaces at the start of the school year in August 2027.
The extension will be connected to the district heating network, illustrating our commitment to aligning our real estate projects with ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria. This approach not only guarantees a significant reduction in our carbon footprint, but also enhances our appeal to public institutions and partners committed to the energy transition
