Ad hoc announcement pursuant to Art. 53 KR
Patrimonium Asset Management AG (“Patrimonium”), the Swiss private markets manager acting as fund management company for the listed Patrimonium Swiss Real Estate Fund (“PSREF”), changes its shareholder structure at the beginning of August 2022 with the exit of co-founder Stéphane Bonvin. His share package is taken over by co-founders Christoph Syz and Daniel Heine. They all founded the company in 2007. The parties have agreed not to disclose the sale price
This decision completes the separation between the shareholders of two important players in the Swiss real estate market.
Stéphane Bonvin is CEO and majority shareholder of Investis Group, which has also been listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange since June 2016. Founded in 1994, the Investis Group is a leading real estate company in the Lake Geneva region and a leading national provider of real estate services.
Patrimonium Asset Management AG, headquartered in Baar and with offices in Lausanne/Crissier and Zurich, manages assets of CHF 4 billion (as of 30.06.2022), of which CHF 2.9 billion in real estate and CHF 1.1 billion in the other private markets of private debt, infrastructure and private equity.
Christoph Syz: “We founded Patrimonium Asset Management together with Stéphane Bonvin 15 years ago, and look back on a very constructive and successful collaboration. Since Stéphane has not been operationally active at Patrimonium for several years, the purchase of his share package by me and Daniel is the logical step. We will continue the good cooperation between our two groups and thank Stéphane for the joint success in building Patrimonium to date.”
Stéphane Bonvin says: “The creation of Patrimonium allowed me to enter the institutional real estate business. From this success and from the experience gained, I was also able to decisively drive the Investis Group forward and also list it over six years ago. I would also like to thank my colleagues for the excellent cooperation”.
Mr Bonvin is also leaving Patrimonium’s Board of Directors.
